R. Jeffrey Orr

Mr. Orr was appointed Vice-Chair of Power Corporation in July 2026.
He has been with the Power group of companies for more than 25 years, including as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation from February 2020 to June 2026, after also having served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Power Financial Corporation from 2005 to June 2026. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of IGM Financial, a position he held beginning in 2001. Prior to joining IGM Financial, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and Vice-Chairman, Investment Banking Group, of the Bank of Montreal.
He is a director of Power Corporation, as well as of certain Power group companies, including Great-West Lifeco, Canada Life, Empower, IGM Financial, IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie. He is also a member of the boards of PanAgora Asset Management Inc. and Rockefeller Capital Management General Partner L.L.C.
Mr. Orr is active in several community and business organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts – Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. Mr. Orr received an honorary Doctor of Laws from Western University.
