We are currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Consolidation & Reporting. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.
Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Financial Accounting, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the consolidation process under the supervision of the Director, Financial Accounting
- Actively participate in the preparation of interim and annual consolidated financial statements and public disclosure documents
- Actively participate in the implementation of consolidation system and optimization of financial processes
- Implement process improvement initiatives with regards to the consolidation process and ensure that industry best practises are being followed
- Prepare reporting materials and presentations for management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors
- Collaborate with different business units and subsidiaries to ensure proper accounting, valuation, and measurement of investments
- Assist in the context of transactions from an accounting, consolidation and financial reporting perspective
- Maintain and improve on documentation of control environment and entity level controls at the holding company
- Assist in the budgeting and planning processes
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and special requests
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in public company financial accounting and reporting role, or at an accounting firm
- University degree and recognized accounting designation
- Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation
- Strong technical background in consolidation or related areas
- Strong ability to solve problems and improve processes
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Organized and process-oriented
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability and interest to work in different financial systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
