We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst, Accounting and Reporting. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.
Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include:
- Actively participate in the preparation of interim and annual consolidated financial statements and public disclosure documents
- Participate in the quarterly and annual consolidation process
- Participate in the accounting and oversight of investment activities
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Review financial information provided by different business units and subsidiaries to ensure appropriate and consistent accounting policies and standards
- Participate in the preparation of the statutory financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of reporting materials and presentations to management
- Assist management in accounting for various transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations)
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and special requests
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a public company financial accounting and reporting role, or in an accounting firm
- University degree and recognized accounting designation
- Good knowledge of IFRS, consolidation or information systems
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Organized and process-oriented
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
