Financial Analyst, Accounting and Reporting


Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst, Accounting and Reporting. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.

Main responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participate in the preparation of interim and annual consolidated financial statements and public disclosure documents
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual consolidation process
  • Participate in the accounting and oversight of investment activities
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Review financial information provided by different business units and subsidiaries to ensure appropriate and consistent accounting policies and standards
  • Participate in the preparation of the statutory financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting materials and presentations to management
  • Assist management in accounting for various transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations)
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and special requests


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a public company financial accounting and reporting role, or in an accounting firm
  • University degree and recognized accounting designation
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, consolidation or information systems
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Organized and process-oriented
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
