Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the position of Accounting and Treasury Technician. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.


Main responsibilities

Reporting to the Corporate Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations and participate in cash management
  • Prepare documentation and process all types of payments and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain financial transaction and settlement process databases
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly journal entries and month-end analyses
  • Maintain continuity schedules
  • Prepare statutory annual financial statements
  • Perform ad hoc analyses
  • Perform all other related tasks


Requirements

  • Minimum of four to five years of experience in accounting or treasury
  • DEC in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance and administration
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with good time management and the ability to prioritize appropriately
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
