Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the position of Advisor, Corporate Communications and Sustainability. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.


Main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director and Associate Director, Corporate Communications and Sustainability, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop content/update/monitor/maintenance of corporate websites and microsites, collaborating with internal and external business partners
  • Develop content for and monitor the Corporation’s social media presence 
  • Prepare regular activity reports regarding the Corporation’s overall digital presence
  • Contribute to internal communication initiatives
  • Contribute to media monitoring efforts
  • Provide support on the production, including drafting, translation and proofreading, of continuous disclosure documents (Annual and Quarterly Reports) or other documents such as corporate ads, employee memos or speeches
  • Provide support on the Corporation’s corporate social responsibility initiatives including stakeholder relations, executive and internal presentations, and committee meeting agendas and materials
  • Provide support to other departments and colleagues’ needs related to communications

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate communications and/or in website and social media management
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing or other related fields
  • Excellent skills in digital tools and platforms, including website content management system and social media
  • Previous experience in a public company, a significant asset
  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility stakeholders/issues, an asset
  • Some notion of video editing, an asset

Skills:

  • Bilingual (oral and written) with solid drafting and proofreading skills in both French and English
  • Demonstrates strong ethics, professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, confidentiality and discretion
  • Able to manage stress well during period of intense activity
  • Must be available to work long hours and weekends during critical periods
  • Very efficient, proactive, organized, disciplined, detail oriented and a quick learner, and able to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
